The first step was to assign roles to each of the four in the group. The second step to making this film was to write the script, which was my job, and then the director had to get the location release so we could film in the places we needed. We then filled out our talent forms which gave us permission to act in the film because we are under eighteen. Meanwhile, the story board was filled out by the cinematographer. After all of that was finished, we were able to begin filming. Because our film took place in school we were able to wear our normal clothing without having to use specific outfits. Most of the days were normal filming of the shots but a couple of the days we had to do special things like a slider or crane shot. For the lighting we used white balance and made the PAC shots darker than the rest to make it more of a horror movie. Lastly, our sound designer had to record footsteps, doors closing and opening, and other things like that to make all the sound sound better and match up correctly.
If I did this project again I would only change one thing. I would just want to have brightened the PAC a little more because it was maybe too dark. I think that the greatest success of the film was the fact that the decapitated head looked so scary. In my opinion the decapitated head really was the thing that brought the horror in this film to life.
