Pan’s Labrinth Reflection
Pan’s Labrinth is not a typical Hollywood film because of all of the violence. It is far more than you would normally see in a Hollywood film and is even more graphic than many. A normal Hollywood movie the conventions are a protagonist and an antagonist who are against each other. However, in Pan’s Labrinth there is a type of connection between the Sci-fi and “fairy like” realm that isn’t seen in typical Hollywood films. There are some similar parts like when in Inglorious Bastards the heads were carved and there was quite a bit of violence. For example in Pan’s Labrinth a nose is bashed in.
