Experimentation
I am experimenting with what colors I should use in the cinematography of my film to create a more earie effect that will leave a lasting mark on the audience. For instance, if I made the color contrast white then it will give it a lighter less sinister mood. If I make it a darker color contrast like red then it will give a more "evil" type of look. My goal for the thriller is to make the audience scared and on the edge of their seats. This goal can not be accomplished if the setting is not just right.
Not only does the color need to be darker but the mood needs to be set by the outfits the characters wear. The outfits must also be darker and should be ruff looking to make it look more grim.
